The next Ars Electronica Festival will take place in Linz, Austria, from September 3-7, 2025

CIFO is pleased to present its most recent exhibition, which explores the powerful presence of women artists in the avant-garde movements from the second half of the 20th century to the present—an approach never before addressed in the Collection.

The works of the seven Latin American artists will be presented at MOLAA | 628 Alamitos Ave, Long Beach, California On view October, 2025 - March, 2026

More than 115 artists from 13 countries submitted entries, and three of them have now been honored with the CIFO-Ars Electronica Awards: Ana María Gómez López, Jonathan Torres Rodríguez and Joaquín Aras will receive prize money for the development and realization of their submitted concepts.

The Government of Spain and the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO) have not reached an agreement in the context of the creation of an exhibition space located in the Tabacalera in Madrid, Spain.

NO SIGNAL, New World School of the Arts' 2018 BFA final visual arts showcase is a group exhibition highlighting a variety of works from 22 visual artists of divergent disciplines, professionally curated by NWSA dean of the visual arts program, Maggy Cuesta and gallerist Fredric Snitzer.

Starting April 2018, CIFO's Exhibition Program becomes itinerant.

As part of this initiative Ella Fontanals-Cisneros will donate part of her private Latin American art collection to the Spanish State. The new exhibition space will open to the public after rehabilitation of the Tabacalera building is carried out by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

The d´Achtall Observatory, an independent group of observation and reflection that watches culture and new trends in Spanish and Latin American life, honored Ella Fontanals-Cisneros with an award for the Cultural Exchange betwen Spain and Latin America at its latest edition of the d´ACHTAL Observatory Awards of 2018.

Ella Fontanals-Cisneros will receive the “A” Prize for Collecting from ARCO in recognition of her contributions to the visibility of Latin American art and artists
