Changes in historical, economic, political & moral realms

ivan argote portrait

Iván Argote lives and works in Paris. His work deals with the way that men associate with the many changes in historical, economic, political and moral realms. He explores the city as a space of transformation with interventions and performances in public areas formated into videos and/or photos. With this, he aims to question the role of subjectivity by involving the body, emotions in the construction of his thinking, and developes methods to generate reflexion about the way one constructs certainty in relation with politics and history.
