Berger has a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Nacional de Arte (UNA) (2007). She co-founded the “Museo La Ene”, “Nuevo Museo Energía de Arte Contemporáneo” (2010-2017) and the art spaces “Inmigrante” (2012-2014) and “Urgente” (2014).
“Much of my work is intrinsically linked to speculative fable, science fiction and institutional criticism. […]The science fiction genre that interests me is not aesthetic but political, in which probabilities become alternatives to allow our resistances of transformation and invention to be part of broader realities.”– Gala Berger
She has curated several exhibits and participated in residencies and exhibitions around the world including museums and galleries in Argentina, Peru, Sweden, Finland, South Korea, Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, the United Arab Emirates and Germany.
