Damián Cabrera is a writer, art critic, researcher, cultural manager and curator. Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional del Este (Paraguay). Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the Postgraduate Program at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2010 he participates in the Espacio/Crítica seminar. Since 2014 he is a member of the Ediciones de la Ura collective and the Red Conceptualismos del Sur (RedCSur), an international platform for research, discussion and collective position taking from Latin America. Member of the research group Estudos Culturais: Identidades e Cultura Política da Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades (Cultural Studies: Identities and Political Culture of the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities) at the University of Sao Paulo, and the Paraguay chapter of the International Association of Art Critics. He works in the areas of language, literature, borders, art, politics and culture.
