Lia Colombino has a master’s degree in Museology from the Valladolid University, Spain. Between 2001 and 2008 she took part in Identidades en Tránsito y Estudios de Crítica Cultural seminars. Director of the Museum of Indigenous Arts in Asuncion, Paraguay (Museo del Barro). Since 2009, she is member of the Red Conceptualismos del Sur (RedCSur) and coordinates the Espacio/Crítica seminar. She is co-founder of the Ediciones de la Ura collective and, since 2000, she coordinates the writing workshop Abrapalabra. She is currently the director of the Institute of Arts at the School of Architecture, Design and Arts, National University of Asunción, where she also teaches. She has curated exhibitions, coordinated projects of art and literature, collaborated with important press outlets and specialized publications, and given lectures in local and international institutions.
